The Fourth of July Delicious Round-Up

Don’t get us wrong, we love our glorious falafel, but in honor of July 4th, we are appreciating the best American cuisine that Israel has to offer. Read through our suggestions below to find out where to go when you’re craving a classic American meal.

1. AMERICA BURGERS

Let’s start with an obvious one: America Burgers. Home to a wide variety of burgers, classic “American” side dishes such as french fries, green beans, and even a bloomin’ onion, America Burgers aims to give Americans in Israel a little taste of their roots. Just in time for the fourth of July, they are offering a new special called the “All American.” Located on Allenby Street in Tel Aviv, both Israelis and tourists are like are given the option to feel “American” one America burger at a time.

2. BROOKLYN PIZZA

Brooklyn Pizza’s 50 centimeter pizzas offer diners the over-sized American portions that some of us long for. With a handful of options ranging from the classic “Queen Margherita” with tomato sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan to the exotic “Hot Chili Pineapple” that features tomato sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, hot peppers and pineapple. Whatever you’re craving, Brooklyn Pizza has a pizza for you.

3. NOLA AMERICAN BAKERY

Not only is America already in the name, this bakery aims to remind diners of a true southern bakery in the States. Located on Dizengoff street, menu options include custom biscuits, titled “build a biscuit,” authentic macaroni and cheese and plenty of pastries. Diners at NOLA American Bakery are meant to feel like they are at a cafe in New Orleans, due to its “southern” atmosphere and matching cuisine.

4. THE DINER BY GOOCHA

An American style diner by the people behind the famous Goocha restaurant, comes “The Diner.” This restaurant located on Ibn Gabriol Street in Tel Aviv, is a nod to the classic American diner. With a menu featuring milkshakes, Caesar salad and macaroni and cheese- The Diner is sure to hit the spot.

5. SHOWROOM BAKEHOUSE

If you’re looking to top off your dinner with some American desserts, look no further than Showroom Bakehouse. With an extensive menu filled with donuts, cookies, cookies and even cronuts- any cravings for American pastries will be satisfied in no time! Showroom Bakehouse is located in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv.

In case you find yourself in Jerusalem on this holiest of days, there are plenty of American spots to fill your craving, but our pick is the Kosher gourmet street food spot, Crave. Sliders, Brisket bites, Taco Bar …. I think you get the idea - glorious American munchies heaven, especially for those that don’t mix milk and meat. Your burgers come with special vegan cheese that will confuse even the biggest cheeseburger connoisseur.
